BioMy name is Annie and I'm a University of Chicago college graduate with a degree in International Studies, and I'm on the JET Programme. I'm 23 years old, and a Korean-Dominican-American. As far as personality traits go, I'd say I'm a bit silly, neurotic, self-conscious, and introspective. Generally speaking, I think I'm friendly, so don't feel like you're intruding. Basically I'll be keeping an account/chronicle of my day-to-day activities/adventures/experiences while on the JET Programme and in Japan in general. I've been assigned to Shibukawa-shi in Gunma-ken, which is approximately 2 hours away from Tokyo by bullet train. I'll try to include as many pictures as possible, as well as detail random happenings. However, I've also posted a link on my journal to my Photobucket site that will have a majority of my pictures. And be forewarned - I'm a sporadic photographer, though I'm trying to fix that habit. | This journal will be kept open since I want to share this with anyone thinking about ways to visit Japan and who is interested in the JET Programme, as well as my friends who don't know much about LJ and just want to see my blog every so often. That said, feel free to comment, just be kind to me and be kind to them, otherwise things may have to change, which I really don't want.
